Pricing questions
Is the price per account or per podcast?
Per podcast. Each podcast you add has its own plan, so two shows can each be on a different plan. Your Clip Creator workspace is always free.
Do the prices include tax?
The prices shown include Australian GST. Checkout is handled by Stripe, which adds the tax for your location, so the amount you pay may differ outside Australia.
What does annual billing change?
Annual billing costs less than twelve monthly payments. Your processed-clip allowance still resets at the start of each month.
Do I need a podcast host?
Not for the free plan, which makes the audio for you to download. To publish, either connect your own Podbean account or choose the plan where Basecast hosts the podcast for you.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Moving to a dearer plan, or from monthly to annual billing, starts straight away and you pay the difference for the rest of the current period. Moving to a cheaper plan starts at the end of the current period.
How do I cancel?
Cancel at any time from Account & settings › Plan › Manage. The plan ends at the end of the period you’ve paid for, and the podcast then moves to the free plan, which can’t publish to Podbean.
